Peter A. Tomasello has been in the data processing and information technology business for over 30 years. With a BS degree in Business Administration and minor in accounting he started his career as a Cost Analyst for Hooker Chemical. He moved to a Programmer/Analyst position after six months. In the next 15 years he held the following positions; Senior Analyst Designer, Telecommunication Specialist for RCA and Unisys, Pre-sales and post-sales Systems Engineer, Officer and supervisor of a software development team specializing in stock and bond portfolios.
In 1980 he was cofounder and partner of COM-PRO, Inc., a Buffalo Data Processing Professional Services company. He was Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In 1985 he opened a branch operation in Tampa and after three years the Florida operation had 110 consultants. COM-PRO with over 225 consultants was sold in 1988 to Continental Information Services (CIS).
In 1989 he started Computer Management Consultants, while in Buffalo, offering software products for small businesses. In 1992 he decided to move to Tampa putting together an organization offering consulting services in Florida, several other states nationally and participated on projects internationally. CMC had over 240 employees. In 1997 sales were 14.5 million and in 1998 sales were 29 million. Solid customer relationships and staying current with new technologies attributed to the company’s success.s
CMC survived the dot.com bust. In mid 2003 CMC won a 3 year sole source contract with PwC-US-IT providing its’ Online Resource Manager product. The software provided a single source of centralized information for managing IT-Staffing, customer requirements, resources, reports and suppliers. Revenues from this contract ranged from 10 million to 15 million per year. CMC was sold in late March of 2005
Mr. Tomasello joined ACM Business Solutions in late 2005 as a Managing Director in charge of Strategic Sales and Business Development. He has had a history of success in start-ups and growth management. He has been very successful in developing relationships with customers.
Anticipating the needs of customers and again staying current with new technologies has attributed to ACM Business Solutions success.
